- Pradip Shah started IndAsia in April 1998
- IndAsia entered into a joint venture with AMP in 2001 for the private equity business in India
- Prior to starting IndAsia, he helped establish the Indocean Fund in 1994 in association with affiliates of Chase Capital Partners and Soros Fund Management
- Before starting Indocean, he was the founder Managing Director of The Credit Rating Information Services of India Limited (CRISIL), India’s first and largest credit rating agency
- While at CRISIL, Pradip was instrumental in technology transfer to, and the training of personnel of, Rating Agency Malaysia Berhad
- While at CRISIL, Pradip rated over 800 companies, both listed and unlisted, private and public sector, across industry domains, building close relationships with entrepreneurial leaders and top managements
- Prior to founding CRISIL, Pradip assisted in founding Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC) in 1977
- Before joining HDFC, Pradip was a Project Officer at ICICI Limited. Pradip has also served as a consultant to USAID, the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank
- Pradip holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sydenham College, Bombay. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant as well as a Cost Accountant, and ranked first in India in the Chartered Accountancy examinations
- Pradip is currently chairman of Kansai Nerolac, Grindwell Norton, Sonata Software and Director of BASF (India), Godrej & Boyce, Hardy Oil and Gas (U.K.), Pfizer, Tata Investment Corporation, Kancor Ingredients and KSB Pumps, amongst other companies
- Pradip was a Director on the Western Region Board of the Reserve Bank of India, was the first Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Industry’s (CII) Financial Sector Committee, and has served as a member of the Finance Commission of the State Government of Gujarat; of the Expert Group on Infrastructure Financing appointed by the Government of India; of the Expert Committee for Restructuring of PSU’s, Government of Gujarat; of the Advisory Board of the Bureau of State Public Enterprises, Government of Maharashtra; of the CII National Task Force on Non-Performing Assets; of the SEBI Committee on Venture Capital; of the SIDBI Working Group on Access to Capital Markets for Small Industries; of the Gujarat Infrastructure Development Board Task Force on Policy and Implementation
- Pradip is a co-founder of Universal Trustees Private Ltd, which specializes in estate planning and trusteeship services for orderly inter-generational transfer of wealth. He has also promoted and runs a social enterprise, www.GROW-TREES.com

Prashant Pai |
- Prashant is involved in the Corporate Finance – Investment Banking
- Prior to joining IndAsia, Prashant worked with Deloitte Touché Tohmatsu India for over fifteen years in in various divisions such as Corporate Finance (M&A), Valuation services, Strategy consulting and Audit & Assurance
- He has worked on assignments with large groups like the Tata’s, Reliance, ITC, L&T, etc. as well as assisted mid-market companies in their M&A - fund-raising foray
- He was also the lead for the Life Science and Healthcare industry for Corporate Finance in Deloitte

Prashant is a Chartered Accountant and has also done his Masters in Finance Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies

- Rohan serves as an analyst in IndAsia’s Asset Management advisory service
- He also assists the Investment Banking Team in research, financial modeling, and valuation
- Rohan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Finance from Franklin & Marshall College, USA

Nitish Khatavkar

- Nitish serves as an analyst in IndAsia’s Asset Management advisory service
- He also assists the Investment Banking Team in research, financial modeling, and valuation
- Prior to joining IndAsia, Nitish worked in HDFC Asset Management Company in the Operations team
- Nitish is a Chartered Accountant and has done his Masters in Commerce from Mumbai University

Animesh M Godiwala

- Animesh has been associated with IndAsia since its inception in 1998 and has been responsible for management of accounts, cash flows and all regulatory aspects of the Indian as well as its overseas operations. Also oversees the administrative and systems management at IndAsia.
- Prior to joining IndAsia, Animesh was associated with Indocean Venture Advisors Private Limited, as Accounts Controller and also worked with Tower Capital, a debt market and capital market broking firm
- Animesh holds Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University
